Maintaining control means ensuring there’s enough airspeed to avoid a stall but at the same time touching down wings level at the slowest safe speed. Webengine fails below that speed, the rudder will not be effective enough to counteract the yaw resulting from asymmetric thrust, and you will not be able to control the airplane.
